It is a labor of love that hits close to home and the heart. Both Mary Magrinat and Sally Pagliai have been touched by cancer: Mary is a breast cancer survivor and Sally’s husband lost his fight with cancer seven years ago. The two women are the face of the Healing Gardens at Cone Health Cancer Center but they are quick to not take full credit for the garden. “These gardens are a gift from the community to our Cancer Center and hospital,” said Pagliai. “Their development has been a beautiful collaboration and we could never have done this without the outpouring of support we have had.” … [click below to continue reading]
